2025-2026 Columbus Tryout Dates & Details

 First rounds of tryouts are now scheduled! Registration will open May 5th through Playmetrics. Follow the instructions under the "training" tab of this website if you do not already have a Playmetrics account.

 July Tryout/Makeup Dates 
17U/18U - 8th 10:30am-12:30pm, 10th 1-3pm
16U - 8th 1-3pm, 12th 9-11am
15U - 10th 10:30am-12:30pm, 12th 11am-1pm
14U - 22nd 1-3pm, 23rd 1-3pm
13U - 21st 1-3pm, 23rd 1-3pm
12U *OPTIONAL through 5th-6th grade Cubs Camp* July 21st-23rd, just need tryout membership through SRVA ($10)

July tryouts will be hosted at:
St Luke Ministry Center or Calvary Christian School

Additional tryouts for all age groups will be scheduled in August and/or September. If your player is unavailable for the dates listed above, register and select the "I need a later
make-up date" option on the player questions section.

Register for Tryouts

Log in to PlayMetrics to register for tryouts. Don't have an account? Click here to create one and follow these instructions:
  1. Create an account and add your player(s) info.   
  2. Upload a pic (close up) in each player's profile.
  3. Tap on "Programs" and then "Tryouts".
  4. ​​Determine your player's age division by their age on June 30th, 2026. (Ex: Player is currently 14, turning 15 in March. Player's age division is 15U.)
  5. COLAVOL's tryout cost is $50 per player, with a $10 early bird discount for those who register by June 15th.
  6. Proceed to complete registration/payment for tryouts via PlayMetrics.
  7. USA Volleyball requires that each athlete register within their region - our region's governing body is the Southern Region Volleyball Association, or SRVA.  Beginning July 1st and prior to tryouts, you must register on the SRVA website and pay a $10 tryout registration fee. ​
  8. Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your tryout time to begin the check-in process. 
  9. Please bring a copy of this completed USA Volleyball Medical Form to tryouts.
